Kähler Spisesalon is equal parts café, patisserie and shop window for the ceramics. The cakes are classic and well made, the brunch is generous, and everything is served on Kähler's own stoneware.
The house belongs to the ceramics brand, and that is part of the experience: you eat off what is for sale in the shop. Brunch runs through the morning, and in the afternoon the cakes carry the place.
Open every day from nine, until five on weekdays and four at weekends.
It is a good place to bring the family, and an even better one to share a slice of layer cake in the afternoon. M.P. Bruuns Gade is in Frederiksbjerg, a few minutes' walk from the station.
