Curfew
NightlifeBarVesterbro, Copenhagen
A speakeasy on Stenosgade with hand-crank shakers and a menu of vintage spirits.

Illustration made with AI
Curfew is built as a Prohibition-era speakeasy, with dim light and dark shelves, and behind the bar stand owner Humberto Marques and his bartenders making the classics with their own turns.
The house signature is the old hand-crank shakers, and there is a separate list of vintage spirits — bottles you cannot buy any more. The bar sits behind the shelves of what was a bookshop, and the entrance is easy to walk past.
Open Tuesday to Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday from six to one, Thursday until two, Friday and Saturday from five to two, and Sunday from seven to one. Closed on Monday.
It suits two or four people who want to sit and talk, and anyone who wants to taste a spirit that no longer exists. Stenosgade is in the quiet end of Vesterbro near Gammel Kongevej.
