About street food spots in Aalborg

Four addresses is not a scene, and Aalborg is one of the smallest street food cities in this guide. In return, each covers its own use: the market hall, two counters and the market day.

Aalborg Street Food occupies the Køkkenfabrikken out by Skudehavnen — stalls under one roof, long shared tables, a bar in the middle and room outside in summer. What is on offer shifts with whoever holds a stall that season, and the hours shift with the time of year. During the Danish autumn half-term, 12 to 18 October 2026, the hall is open every day: Monday to Thursday and Sunday 11.30-21, Friday and Saturday 11.30-23. From 19 October to 13 December it falls back to Friday 17-23, Saturday 11.30-23 and Sunday 11.30-21, closed Monday to Thursday. The food stalls close half an hour to an hour before the hall. From 14 December the hall closes for the winter and opens again on 23 March. Skudehavnsvej lies northwest of the centre, so it takes a bike, a bus or a car.

Bentto on Østerågade is the opposite: no seats, only boxes to carry out, open every day from eleven until nine. It sits in the middle of town close to Nytorv and is easy to pass on the way somewhere else.

Grønttorvet on Danmarksgade is not a food hall but a market day — greens, bread, fish and cheese from stalls, Wednesday and Saturday from eight until two. Much of it is organic and comes from the land around the city. Come before midday if you want the choice; the rest of the week the square is empty.

Burger Boom at Vesterbro 68 is the chain's only address in Aalborg: burgers made with organic Danish beef in a potato bun, fries with parmesan and a vegan burger in a gluten-free bun. Open every day from eleven until nine, and on weekdays from eleven to four there is a 99-krone lunch meal.
