Aarhus Street Food is a few minutes' walk from the station and gathers around thirty stalls in an old engine shed: Vietnamese, Mexican, vegan street food and a bar in the middle. It is noisy, informal and open late.

You order at the stalls and sit at the communal tables. Several stalls serve vegan and vegetarian food, and prices sit a step above the cheapest food halls. There is takeaway if you are moving on.

Open every day from half past eleven to nine, the bar carrying on afterwards. The house publishes its own closing days, and they are the only ones in the year: closed from 23 to 26 December inclusive, and on 31 December and 1 January.

Perfect if you are a group with different wishes, or if you have an hour before a train. It also suits families — there is room, and nobody has to sit still. Ny Banegårdsgade is right behind the station.
