Street foodNørrebro, Copenhagen
Tacos and burgers on Nørrebrogade — quick, cheap and better than it needs to be.

Illustration made with AI
Jagger makes tacos and burgers at fast-food speed, with ingredients that do not belong to fast food. The beef is organic free-range, the chicken Danish welfare chicken, and the buns are baked in the chain's own bakery in southern Jutland. That is why there is a queue at lunchtime.
There are ten burgers on the card plus tacos and fries. Four have no meat — veggie, halloumi and a vegan one on a gluten-free bun. The food comes out quickly. It is somewhere you eat and move on from; there are tables, but it is not a restaurant.
Open every day from eleven to ten, and until eleven on Friday and Saturday. There are around fifteen Jaggers in greater Copenhagen, and the one on Nørrebrogade is among the chain's largest.
It suits a lunch on the move and an unplanned dinner. There is takeaway and delivery through their own app.
Why it's worth a visit
- Organic free-range beef, buns from their own bakery
