Thunbergs

Thunbergs makes cakes, bakes bread and sells ice cream from the same room on Strandboulevarden. It is homemade to a degree that has become rare, and the selection changes with whatever they feel like.

A large part of the card is vegan or gluten-free without it being announced as a warning — that is simply how they bake. It makes the place useful if someone in the group cannot eat everything.

Open Wednesday to Friday from nine to five and at weekends from nine to four. Monday and Tuesday are closed.

It suits an afternoon in Østerbro with cake and coffee, and anyone looking for something sweet without milk or gluten. There are seats outside, and there is rarely a queue.
