Auren's Deli opened in July 2022 as a grocery shop, café and bar in one room. After three years Henry and Pernille split the two apart: the groceries moved a hundred metres down the street to Auren's Cornerstore in November 2025, and the original address is now a café and wine bar alone.
The menu changes every day, but the shape stays the same: some vegetable dishes, a couple of larger ones with meat or fish, something light, something to share and something sweet at the end. The day's menu goes up on the house's Instagram, so you can see it before you leave home.
The wine is chosen for minimal intervention, the cocktail list is put together with Bird, and there is a short beer list. The shelves are also a wine shop: the bottles can be bought to take home, and the staff will help you choose.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from twelve until eleven. The kitchen splits the day — lunch from twelve to half past three, aperitivo until half past five and dinner until nine.
Half the dining room can be booked and the other half is kept free for walk-ins. It suits a late lunch that slides into a glass, and anyone who would rather know what is on the menu before ordering. Godthåbsvej is in Frederiksberg, a few minutes from Godthåbsvej station.
