Organic chocolate and flødeboller on Værnedamsvej.

Illustration made with AI
Summerbird turned the flødebolle into something adults buy for themselves. The chocolate is organic, and the selection in the shop on Værnedamsvej changes with the season — marzipan in autumn, Easter eggs in spring.
The flødeboller come in several versions and are made on a marzipan base thicker than the supermarket kind. There are also bars, confectionery and gift boxes, and that is what people come for in December.
Open Monday to Friday from eleven to six and Saturday until four. Closed on Sunday.
It is a shop, not a place to sit. It suits a present you did not think about in time, and anyone walking down Værnedamsvej anyway. The price is high, but the portions are small enough that it does not matter.
